Find Out How A Book Was Written Using This Method of Business

I don't mind telling you that I consider "The Mango Tree Cafe, Loi Kroh Road" one of the best books I have ever written as an author or co-author for that matter. It started out being a business proposition and I was prepared to wheel and deal in my American mode until I read the first few chapters of this beautiful, poignant story. How did I get from point A to point B?

I feel some background on me is in order. First of all, I am a professional ghostwriter. That means that people will hire me to write books, articles, novels, short stories, newsletters etc. for them and they pay me in exchange for the written material and the right to put their own name as the writer. I feel it's a fair enough exchange. I don't feel the need to put my name on every little thing I write. It's what I do for a living and I am happy to do it. So what happened? How did I get from ghostwriter to co-author on my latest work?

The work grabbed me where I live. Firmly in the grasp of my heart. I'm a sucker for beautiful story with rich details and vivid characters and this story provided that and more. At first, I was prepared to wheel and deal, I am an American entrepreneur, right? My co-author is a native New Zealander who resides in Beijing, China. He has always been taken with the Asian way of life and the philosophy of doing business.

For example, Asians prefer to do business after they have made an emotional connection somehow. They have to feel a kindred spirit with the other person, a trust, something in their gut that tells them this is a good thing to be doing. Makes perfect sense, huh?

So how is it different than doing business with an American? The typical American business is prepared to "schmooz" and "wheel and deal". Honestly, if the American business gets the price they want and a signed contract. They could care less if they "connect" with the other person. A deal and a contract is a deal and a contract. That's how we have become so litiation hungry.

I have to tell you, that this deal done the Asian way has turned out to be the most satisfying and wonderful projects that I have ever participated in. I've found my counterpart to be gracious, generous and brilliant on all parts. So it was decided on both our parts that I would be a co-author instead of a ghostwriter. I wanted my name on the cover and I didn't care so much about the money I would be receiving from my client. He was my co-author and I wanted to see this project through doing it the way it should be done.

So, with a very strong internet connection, a beautiful story and "a connection between the authors" a book was written that will capture your heart. It's for sale on Amazon.com. Buy the book. You won't regret it.

And, you just may change the way you do business the next time. I know I have.
